Garden Parties 2017

Thelma's open garden and Flamenco show, 24th July.

 

This was a deightful afternoon and very well attended, even though the unsettled weather produced a substantial dollop of rain at precisely the same time as the dancers were entertaining us.

Most kept dry under gazebos, umbrellas or by moving inside, and thoroughly enjoyed the dancers and the guitarist.

Some guests enjoyed a wander around the fascinating garden and through the woodland walk, and of course, all enjoyed delicious cake with their tea.

The splendid amount of £777 was raised, to be shared between Motor Neurone Disease and Cancer charities.  Congratulations and thanks to Thelma & family, and helpers.
